UNICRI's Global Report on Counterfeiting
Twentieth Session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice
Turin, June 2010. UNICRI has been requested by the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice to present its Global Report on Counterfeiting during the thematic debate at the next CCPCJ Session. In its Decision 19/1 (Strengthening crime prevention and criminal justice responses to counterfeiting and piracy) the Commission "noted the publication in 2007 of the report of the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute entitled Counterfeiting: a Global Spread, a Global Threat, and decided to invite the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute to present the above-mentioned report with its updates to the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice at its Twentieth session, under the agenda item World crime trends and emerging issues and responses in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice."
